If you had to compare the novel and the movie. I would go for the novel but the recreation of the novel was exceptional even though there are some few key pointers that are missing I'm happy actually. I found it to be really brilliant that it felt more that I was watching a movie then I was actually reading the book it felt like its own secondary concept on the side and if there's a second movie I would watch it.
I was slightly disappointed how quickly it ended. It did feel complete but by human habit it didn't for filling the spot. That's why I recommend for the next movie to be made. Highly recommend it.
If it was recreated to a series I feel as though it would be a run down like The Secret Circle. So over all I would watch it over and over again until the last book is recreated.
