I'm not one to review short films, but I'm going to make it a thing this year starting with this excellent Disney short that was released before Big Hero 6 last year. It is about a dog that loves his owner, but loves the leftovers he gives him every day ranging from bacon and eggs to spaghetti and meatballs. The owner later falls for a waitress who changes his diet to include vegetables much to the chagrin of the dog. From then on it is a tale about a dog's love for his owner and it is a very sweet tale.
The animation is great featuring a milky texture that resembles CG with some 2D animation as well. The story is simple and very heartwarming especially those who have a dog. It also packs in a lot of amusing moments in its limited run time.
Overall, if you haven't seen this short, make it a job to watch it as it is one of the better Disney shorts in recent memory.
