Never seen a better military movie which had the emotions of a soldier completely -the sadness, love, joy, pride, exhaustion, what gets you there, and what wakes you up...all of them in a film is nearly impossible. Thanks to Alper Çağlar, now you know one.Main characters are 7 maroon berets from special forces of Türkiye,in a mission which leads them to Iraq,to save Ceyda Balaban (a Turkish journalist who has been kidnapped by ISIS).Thing is,it's a private mission,so there'll be no other forces to back them up,they are all alone.
I can say that it's a must for everyone to watch and learn, because it's not a film to just watch and sleep. It makes you think. It adds you something about you don't know. The main middle-eastern problem,Isis, what Turkish forces should do and what they do,everything.
Perfect with sound-visual effects as well.If you are considering.10/10
Generally Turkish movies are low on expectations especially when it comes to visual effects. That's why some of our films are a bit embarrassing if they have explosion, modern war kind of scenes. At least i think like that sometimes, but it gives me pride when i see Dağ 2.Every battle scene was more than just professional, then i learned that even actors had lessons from real soldiers, and equipped by TSK(Turkish Armed Forces). So i recommend everyone who likes battles, modern day war,and professional forces. Sound effects were also good, even the music choices (if you could look at their lyrics and what they say you can understand what i mean) because they perfectly fit to their scenes and they strengthen the movie with it. Alper Çağlar did an amazing job with solving the 2 main existing problems most of the Turkish cinema has,and with that perfect scenario he put this movie and his name on the top of Turkish cinema,World Cinema and of course the Top of Military Films.
